Say what?!
Before you read further, please understand, I'm not posting this to jump on a dead person. Nor do I agree with exactly everything this blogger wrote, but there's a heaping helping of truth in here. Read carefully the part about the nun who taught history and Falwell's remarks following 9/11/2001. That's the crux of this whole argument and why people like Jerry Falwell more to be feared than revered.

well, I couldn't disagree with you more. I find it interesting that he (or she) NEVER mentions the abuse of power heaped on people by the like of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. I may not always agree with Falwell's comments or theology, but our constitution provides for his freedom of speech, just as it does for yours, mine, Jesse's and Al's. Frankly, his opinion of global warming is as valid as Al Gore's. I don't believe we can judge the hearts of men, but if you are going to, you must do it using the same measure for everyone, despite their political stances!
